Dr. Karly Gruett, O.D. joined Michiana Eye Center in 2025. She is certified through the National Board of Examiners in Optometry. She completed her optometry ocular disease residency with an emphasis in pediatrics in 2025, and also focuses on pre and post operative care, contact lenses, glaucoma management and the treatment of many other ocular diseases.
Dr. Gruett's interest in eyecare began during her early life as a patient at our Plymouth location. Her eye doctor emphasized the interrelated nature of ocular and systemic health, which became a passion for her as well. She trained with us as an ophthalmic technician before leaving for optometry school, and joined our physician team shortly after completing her optometry residency. She's thrilled to return to her hometown, where she can build lasting connections with her patients and community.
