PROKERA is a biologic corneal bandage device utilized to heal and treat many ocular surface diseases. Similar to a standard contact lens, PROKERA is inserted directly onto the eye and over the cornea. Comprised of amniotic membrane tissue, which is known for it’s natural healing properties, PROKERA is FDA-approved and safe and effective for the treatment of ocular conditions such as dry eye, dystrophy, keratitis, and chemical burns.
