Optical Laboratory Technician Mishawaka

We are looking for an energetic and focused personality to add to our team of optical laboratory technicians! Michiana Eye Center is a five-location ophthalmology and optometry practice, with a commitment to the preservation and restoration of vision, and the prevention of blindness. Our Mishawaka on-site lens laboratory serves as the backbone to our optical shops, providing ophthalmic lenses that are surfaced and cut to order. Our optical laboratory technicians work in a climate-controlled environment with regular office hours, typically from 8am-5pm weekly.

To be successful in this role, you will need basic literacy skills and an ability to maintain an organized workspace.  A detail-oriented personality and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment are also desirable skills for this role. On-the-job training is available, although experience with lens surfacing equipment is preferred.
